Girls softball teams win Raleigh championships

The Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department recently completed its fall youth softball league tournaments at Buffaloe Road Athletic Park.

Age 11-13 champions: The Orioles outlasted the White Sox 19-14 for the title on Oct. 19.

Age 14-17 champions: The Rangers won their championship by defeating the Yankees 6-5 on Oct. 20.
