The Father-Daughter JAM-boree is back.
After a one-year hiatus, Triangle Lady Starz Basketball Club will conduct its 2-on-2 basketball tournament for girls and their fathers or male mentors on Oct. 10.
The Starz held their tournament for two years but had to cancel last year's event when they could not find a gym, said Diane Williams, one of the organizers.
The event's new home is Wake Chapel Church, located at 3805 Tarheel Club Road in Raleigh.
The competition is open to girls ages 9-17 and their fathers or male mentors. Each team is guaranteed two games. Register early - just 25 places are available.
On tournament day, check-in starts at 9:30 a.m., and play starts at 10 a.m.
The entry fee is $20 per team. Spectators get in for $3 for adults or $1 for ages 6-11. Proceeds benefit the basketball club.
To enter, call Williams at 919-332-3949.
