Bass fishing was tough for 19 teams at the Piedmont 2-Man Team Bass Classic held May 9 at Jordan Lake held out of the Farrington boat access. The high winds that started at about 8am didn't let up all day. Bass are still bedding but signs are there that it's almost over. Bass are probably in the early transition post spawn stage.
Plastics seemed to be the hot number for the day and there was a little top water action early in the day. Thirty-one bass were weighed in with only one bass casualty. The polygraph was given and all passed.
