New student housing proposal to come to Chapel Hill Town Council

Bookmark and Share

The developers for a proposed student housing project in Chapel Hill are scheduled to present their concept plan to the council at a public hearing on April 23.

We wrote about the project, which would add, a hotel and 190 apartments on 16 acres on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Wednesday's Chapel Hill News, but couldn't reach anyone with the town Friday to get details on the developer or when they would be presenting their plan to the council.

The developer for Carolina Flats  is Progressive Capital Group based in Orlando, Florida.  Russ Greer presented the plan for Progressive Capital at a Community Design Commission meeting in March.
