Boy named "Sue" absconds with flat-screen TV

Bookmark and Share

A Carrboro man called police to say that someone stole his 53-inch flat-screen Hitachi TV. A neighbor told the investigating officer he had given the roommate and the TV a ride to an apartment complex on Erwin Road. "The complainant advised that he only knows his roommate as 'Sue' and that he has lived with him for the past three weeks," wrote Officer P. Reinas in a police report. The television has been entered into a National Crime Information Center database. Sue did not answer his cell phone when Reinas called.
