The race for president has been heated and emotional, to say the least.
How can President-elect Barack Obama help the country heal and move forward? How do you feel about the future? What did you think of John McCain's gracious concession speech?

our Country is now in a bigger mess

I for one do not think Obama is the man for the job ahead. I do not want to help my fellow Americans out of debt. I have my own and take care of them. Why would I want to give my hard earn money to anyone. I work two two to three jobs at a time not because I have but I want things in my life ie new RV, new boat, Vactions and I want to paid cash for them. I have taken all my money out of the market the day before the election canceled my 401 k's because Obama will not be able to take that also.

Obama's Task

Obama should, as a first step, get a good grip on national security matters. Once people are assured that they can feel secure and do, in fact, feel secure then they will gain confidence in other more mundane matters like the economy.
In a way of speaking: Security begets confidence and confidence begets growth. Security is the cornerstone for everything else.

As for McCain, he did a good job of bowing out gracefully and offering a conciliatory gesture to Obama.

Change?

Obama advocates "change" yet the first person he names to his staff is an ex-Clinton aide. Doesn't sound like much of a change to me.

Our country is a mess and

Our country is a mess and Obama has a hard job a head. I believe he will weather it well while cleaning up the mess slowly but surly.

After listening to the

After listening to the vitriol and hatred spewed by the left the past 8 years I'm sharping the partisan axe for Barack Obama. No healing for the false prophet and his meat head Biden.
