Held Ball?

I agree w/Dirk. Looks like Thompson traveled; therefore, no jump ball. It should have been Carolina's ball and I am not a Carolina fan. Secondly, referees in all conferences make bad calls, but we must remember they are human and must make split second decisions. I do not want to see the game slowed down because people protested so much that the NCAA implements challenges. If that were to happen, they might as well remove the shot clock and let Carolina, et. al. go back to the four corners!

everybody does it

Duke,State, Wake all do it.Some times you get the call somtimes you don't!Gooo Heeel's!!!

Same call from the first half

If you look back to the first half the refs made the same call, when a VT player did the same thing to Tyler. It was a good game. Lets not make a big deal out of it.

The call was correct.

These great pictures confirm that there was no foul. It was great defense by Hansborough!

The blown goaltending call was a horrible call AGAINST the Heels. Why isn't the press blowing that call up. The plays in the middle of a game count just as much as those at the end.

Go Heels!

Why don't you show a 7 frame

Why don't you show a 7 frame sequence of the blown goal tend call 2 minutes earlier??

yes

good play no great play! all you haters go home! all this crap about hansbrough and the heels are just jealous fans hating thats all! get a life!

total foul....in

total foul....in fact.....he's fouling in every pic with his body...good thing the heels took their refs with them,...

total foul?

Then you agree that every time down the court those same body-ups and beating that Tyler recieves are all fouls......   I didn't think so.............

 just another hater;-))

You're right, refs blew the call!

He traveled. Look at his feet.

In photo 1, his right foot is down, his left is up.
In photo 2, his left foot is down, his right foot is up.
In photo 3, his right foot is down again, his left foot is up.
Look at his position on the court in photo one compared to photo 3. I don't recall him dribbling to change positions.

And it does appear to be a jump ball too.

seeing is believing

Go to acc now to see the video from the baseline view. Definitely a different perspective. Keep in mind that the ACC officials couldn't get a call right even if John Swofford was waving a $10K bonus over their heads to make the correct call. Doesn't matter who the team is, they flat out blow calls, especially at crunch time.

pictures say a thousand words

and not one of those words would be a foul associated with Tyler Hansbrough. case closed. haters go home. Heels have at least one more game to play.

:)

Looks good to me!
