Raleigh's Tea party could get really hot because of the fame. I have attended their parties and just wondering how expensive the party goods are. They really show what they are.
THE OBAMANITES JUST DONT GET IT..................ITS NOT ABOUT POLTICAL PARTY IT ABOUT THE DEBT THAT BOTH PARTIES ARE PUTTING US INTO.....HOW THE HELL CAN YOU SPEND YOUR WAY OUT OF DEBT????????????????????????????????
At least Americans are getting involved with the process just like the "left" / "liberal" side has done at this past election. I think that there are upset Americans on both sides of the political fence at this protest...
If I remember correctly, 95% of people are getting tax cuts under President Obama which would probably include most the people rallying. Plus the original Boston Tea Party protested "No taxation without representation" correct? Well we have representation that we choose and America chose Obama. I just don't get these tea party protesters...
95% getting tax cuts? Well, Einstein, if that IS the case (and I don't believe it for one minute), exactly HOW is the $12,000,000,000,000 (that's TRILLION) going to EVER be paid off?
You libs don't get it. We are talking about the future of our children, and the future of our country. Quit your small-thinking about what's happening today.
I'm sorry man, there were at least 3 thousand people that attended. There may not have been 3 thousand all at once, but I left at 7 pm and I know I met 75 to 100 people walking to the protest on the way back to my car. The pictures ARE cherry picked... hopefully someone will post something resembling accurate. Boycott the N&O* Confuse New Age Math counter 18 Wheeler
Sorry Man! A instant replay by NFL political Refs shows that your 3 thousand people were simply people getting off work at the State Capital. You lose a down and move back to the Red Zone 20 yard line. You have one more Fox Network Challege left.
3000 a bit much? Maybe. Hundreds a bit underestimated? Definately. Tie goes to the little guy for doing more with fewer resources than the major media outlet.
BTW, It's kinda obvious if someones' walking down the street to attend a rally. You know, signs, don't tread on me flags, etc. Usually can be spotted out of the people that are working late.

There were at least a 1000 in small town Newton NC. Truckers and cars beeped horns as they passed also. It was a peaceful gathering where a bull horn was provided to anyone who wanted to speak. There were speakers from all age groups. One young boy who looked to be about 12-14 was carrying a sign that said: "Tim, It's Tax Day". The signs were home made and expressed a variety of opinions on taxes, bailouts, spending, attitude of Congress, federal reserve, Tim Geithner, first amendment, second amendment, etc, education, military, socialism, new world order, 911, state rights, and more. The major theme of the speeches were protection of the constitution, lack of voice - Congress not listening. My son who is 16 designed my sign: "We've Hit Barack Bottom"
There were many many more at the tea party than the "hundreds" mentioned. The entire grassy area east of the Capitol was full of people, all they way down to the street. The pictures don't portray it accurately either.
