Sean Callihan, TORC's race director, informs us that Nov. 15 will be the Heel of a Race, the second in TORC's endurance race series. This 6-hour event will begin at 1 p.m. and go until 7 p.m., "So there will be a couple laps during the evening." The inaugural race in the series, the Curse at the Crab on on Oct. 4 ran from 3-9 p.m.
TORC now has endurance race series info posted on its Web site, although there's not much there just yet. One additional thing we do know: TORC will hold a workday at the HOAR (hmm) race site — Carolina North Forest in Chapel Hill — Nov. 1; pitch in and they'll shave a few bucks from your entry fee.
