A little full disclosure here: Despite my grand pronouncement earlier today that you walk or run or bike to the polls to exercise your right to vote, I ended up driving. It was raining, I feared that if I showed up soaking wet I might drip on the voting machine, which might short it out, which might cause red flags to go up with the Wake County elections officials, which, especially in the case of close races, might create a Florida scenario, which might keep us from truly knowing who we elected to office.
So I did my patriotic duty by driving and staying dry. (I am, however, considering riding my bike to get my free donut and coffee.)
