One of the many beauties of our democratic form of government is that when it comes time to vote, we try and make it easier by having polling places in most neighborhoods.
Uncle Sam helps a fisherman row to the polls.
For me, it's a mile walk to the Triangle Aquatic Center, where I can cast my ballot, get in some laps, walk a mile back home. The walk (or run, or bike) over is good for clearing your head and sorting through any last-minute indecision you may have. On the walk (or run, or bike) back, you can bask in the fact you live in a great democracy where, hanging chads aside, every person's vote counts.
Go get out today and walk or run or bike and vote!
