Blago's corruption trial under way

Bookmark and Share

Some 18 months after his arrest, and more than five years after a probe was first launched against him, the former governor of Illinois is on trial in Chicago. We don't have to tell you much more about Rod Blagojevich, he of "Apprentice" and other media fame.

Americans love a trial. This one is predicted to be a circus with much at stake for the prosecutors.

So far, we have been following it through the Chicago newspapers, which both have "home" pages for the trial and blogs.

The Tribune's home page is here — it includes links to court documents — and the Tribune's trial blog is here. So far, the Trib's work is more up-to-date.

The Sun-Time's home page is here and the blog is here.
