Time is running out to recycle holiday waste

Bookmark and Share

Wake County's Holiday Wrap-Up will end on Saturday, Jan. 15. The program allows citizens to recycle a variety of holiday waste, including wrapping paper, trees, gift boxes and greeting cards. Since the program began on Dec. 26, 2010, nearly 1,200 Christmas trees have been collected.

Chatham County's Christmas Treecycling Program is wrapping up as well, ending Friday, Jan. 14.

Most municipalities will continue to pick up trees curbside with yard waste. To find out specifics, check out our holiday recycling guide.
