Bookmark and Share

Good news, Raleigh residents and small businesses — the City of Raleigh's Yard Waste Recycling Center is now accepting rigid plastics.

Crates, plastic totes, old recycling bins, buckets, plastic lawn furniture, children's toys, flower pots, plastic clothes hangars and hair brushes are some of the items accepted.

Rigid plastics will only be accepted at the Yard Waste Center, located at 900 N. New Hope Road. The facility is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The center also accepts computers and televisions, all electronic items with a cord and other items accepted through the city's curbside recycling program.

If you need more information regarding accepted rigid plastics or the Yard Waste Recycling Center, call Solid Waste Services at 919-996-6890 or visit www.raleighnc.gov/recycling.
