Bookmark and Share

Do you live in the Raleigh city limits and are wondering when you are going to be switched over to the new biweekly collection service? The City of Raleigh's website will show you the month and year your address will be converted from weekly to biweekly recycling collection.

Nearly 18,000 households throughout Raleigh are already on the biweekly collection schedule, and the rest will be converted to the new schedule over the next three years.

To find out the month and year your address will be changed over to biweekly collection, go to the City's website and follow the directions below:

  • Click on the "Maps" icon in the upper right-hand corner of the webpage
  • Click on the "View More Information" in the the right-hand panel
  • Enter your address in the fields in the right-hand frame
  • Click the City flag icon called "Services" in the lower right-hand corner
  • Click on Solid Waste just above the icons. You may need to scroll down within the frame until you get to "New Rollout Start Date"

For more information, contact the City of Raleigh Solid Waste Services Department at 996-6890 or visit the website.
