Grandma's thong is so very wrong. So is shaving your cat. And according to Keep America Beautiful's new campaign, those things are just as wrong as littering.
The nonprofit has launched a new campaign to spread the word about the problems of littering, and KAB is taking a humorous approach to let people know just how wrong it is.
The Littering is Wrong Too campaign equates littering with other "brainless, irrational, ridiculous, thoughtless, twisted, diabolical, rude, sinister, conniving, grievous, just plain wrong wrongs."
The campaign's website, litteringiswrongtoo.org, has some engaging features where people can "write their wrongs." Visitors to the site can submit their wrongs, view and vote on other submissions. People can also submit photos or videos for others to view and vote on as well.
While you're on the site, take a moment to pause and watch the billboards in the upper right hand corner and get a good laugh.
You can help spread the word on how wrong littering is by purchasing one of 12 T-shirts available through the site. The proceeds from each shirt sold will help go to prevent litter in the U.S. You can choose from wrongs such as "Body Shots at a Family Reunion" and "Piercing Your Eyelids."
