Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation is putting a call out for organizations whose mission is to conserve and preserve, food vendors who serve earth-friendly fare, local artists to sell their art in the new mARTket, as well as volunteers for Earth Action Day Festival on April 9.
The application deadline is March 10 and space is limited. Exhibitors will reach more than 3,500 people in the community, so come celebrate and share your environmentally mindful initiatives.
The mARTket, an earth-inspired art fair, is looking for local artists to sell their art.
The entry fee for non-profits and artists is $40, and $75 for commercial organizations.
The festival is a celebration for sustainable living and will be presented by Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation on Saturday, April 9, from noon to 5 p.m. at Southern Community Park.
Activities include the Swap-O-Rama-Rama clothing swap, interactive demonstrations and other educational opportunities for children and adults.
