I've written the 50th Grammar Guide quiz. This one is based on words we often see used incorrectly in fashion and home decor stories. They are common words that are easily mistyped and overlooked. As usual, I have written an explanation for each answer so you will get feedback as you check your answers. The explanations are the same whether you answered correctly or not.

Still stuck at 80 percent

I know I am tardy but I'm using the latpop computer with the bookmark for the Triangle Grammar Guide, and much like me, it doesn't get out all that much.

Again I missed one, but not the one I feared. With complete confidence I answered the wrong way on the mantle/mantel question.  My only excuse is that all four of my dictionaries were already performing an important function in question five.

Lie/Lay Still Confuses Me

Thanks for the great explanations. I can't believe I missed the lie/lay challenge. Arrrrgh!
