What's on Tap: This week's food events

Each Monday, we share a round up of interesting events - food, beer, wine, or other culinary event - across the Triangle: 

  • Wednesday night is Elvis Glass Night at Raleigh's Flying Saucer Draught Emporium. The fun starts at 7 p.m.
  • Cameron Village library is offering a class on "Preserving Summer's Harvest" at 11 a.m. Saturday. It is free but call 856-6703 to reserve a spot.
  • Triangle Food Tour of Chapel Hill/Carrboro. Participants meet at The Franklin Hotel lobby, 311 W. Franklin St., Chapel Hill. at 2:30 p.m. Saturdays. It costs $30. And the same company offers a Triangle Food Tour of Raleigh. Participants meet at Meet at the former Capital City Grocery porch, 10 W. Franklin St., Raleigh at 2:30 p.m. Saturdays or 9 a.m. Thursdays by appointment. $28. Please register in advance by calling 434-8978 or 319-5674.
