Each week, we check in with a manager of a farmers market to see what will likely be for sale this week.
Shonna Greenwall, manager of The Saturday Market outside Rebus Works art gallery and event space in Raleigh’s Boylan Heights neighborhood, said shoppers can expect to see these items for sale this weekend: fresh North Carolina seafood, bread, peaches, broccoli, cabbage, cucumbers, arugula, kale, bok choy, tatsoi, eggs, pork and sungold tomatoes. Plus, Muddy Dog Roasting Co. will have hot or iced coffee by the cup and by the pound.
Plus, this Saturday the Chick-N-Que food truck will be serving food as well as Fullsteam Brewery offering its Hogwash Hickory-Smoked Porter on draft.
The Saturday Market is 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturdays at 301 Kinsey Street (Boylan Heights), Raleigh. Info: rebusworks.us/thesaturdaymarket
