Still looking for Superbowl plans for Sunday

Bookmark and Share

Here's a reminder that these two events are happening Sunday:

Buffalo's Southwest Cafe is hosting a wing eating contest during halftime. It costs $10 to enter but the proceeds are donated to The Jimmy V Foundation. If you win, you get 10 wings every day until the next Super Bowl. Talking about getting your wings fix.

For those who just want to watch the fun, wings cost 45 cents each and domestic bottled beers cost $2. Buffalo’s Southwest Café located at 7504 Creedmoor Rd. Raleigh.

Michael Dean's Seafood Grill & Oyster Bar is hosting a Super Bowl Party.

The first 100 guests will receive free Superbowl pool squares. Here's how the Superbowl pool works:

The numbers that go along with each row/column of the Super Bowl squares sheet will be randomly drawn after all Super Bowl squares have been sold. This makes it so all players have the same opportunity to get any set of numbers. It also means you don't have to know anything about football as it all comes down to the luck of the draw.

Winners must be present to claim their prize.  Prizes are: $50 for first, second and third quarters and $100 for the final score.

The party begins at 4 p.m. Mash House drafts cost $3. Domestics beers cost $2. Raw bar items will be buy one get one free. A special Super Bowl menu includes these items for $6: Asian BBQ Wings, Three-Alarm Chili, White Chicken Chili, Michael Dean’s Shrimp Nachos, Sliders, Roasted Garlic and Vegetable Pizza, Shrimp Pizza, Prosciutto Pizza and Roasted Chicken Pizza.
