Rise, a biscuit and donut shop in Durham, opens today

Rise, a Durham donut and biscuit shop, opened today.

Chef Tom Ferguson, owner of Durham Catering Co., has opened Rise near The Streets of Southpoint. The shop is located at 8200 Renaissance Parkway, Suite 1003, near the Target and Petco.

Folks are raving about the maple bacon doughnuts on Twitter this morning. Follow them @risedurham.
