Quail Ridge Books hosts Concord farmer/author Sunday

At 3 p.m. Sunday, Aaron Newton will be reading from his book, "A Nation of Farmers: Defeating the Food Crises on American Soil," at Quail Ridge Books in Raleigh. He also will sign copies. 

Newton farms and resides in Concord, N.C. He co-authored the book with  Sharon Astyk.

The bookstore is located at Ridgewood Shopping Center on Wade Avenue in Raleigh, next to the Whole Foods.
