Panciuto offering Burmese dinner as a farm fundraiser

Panciuto restaurant in Hillsborough is hosting a Burmese dinner Tuesday to benefit the Transplanting Traditions Community Farm in Chapel Hill.

Diners will sit at one long table in the restaurant and be served a family-style feast. The menu for the 7 p.m. meal includes gourds with dipping sauces, pennywort salad, fish cakes, lemongrass-chicken broth soup with mushrooms, okra and lemon basil, chicken-potato curry, rice, a traditional raw vegetable plate and Sanwin Makin a semolina cake with avocado ice cream.
