Herons' chef Scott Crawford has unveiled the Cary restaurant's new lunch menu. The restaurant is located inside The Umstead Hotel and Spa.
Several items caught our attention, as well as the more reasonable prices:
- a chilled avocado and cucumber soup with silver queen corn relish, grilled white shrimp and dill for $7.
- a lobster roll on toasted milk bread with homemade salt and vinegar chips for $15.
- and for dessert: a mojito sundae with rum sorbet, lime custard, mint granita and lime-scented poundcake for $8.
