Bookmark and Share

Durham's Four Square Restaurant is hosting a wine dinner Aug. 20 featuring wines from the Raffaldini Vineyards, an Italian winemaker in western North Carolina.

The five-course meal starts with North Carolina oysters served with a glass of Fiori 2008 and continues with confit of poulet rouge with vanilla roasted potatoes, creamed spinach and sage broth served with an Urbano 2008. The meal costs $60 per person, excluding tip.

To read more about Raffaldini Vineyards, check out a recent column by Amber Nimocks, a former food editor of The News & Observer and author of the monthly "Let it Pour" column. Here's the link.
