Eastern Triangle Farm Tour set for Sept.

The Eastern Triangle Farm Tour will be Sept. 19 and 20 and includes 20 farms, a talk on how to raise urban chickens and storytellers at a couple farms.

The event is a self-guided tour of farms from Pittsboro to Bunn from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. both days. 

One new event is a talk about how to raise chickens in the city by Doug Brown of Fowl Attitude Farm at 2 p.m. Saturday at the SEEDS Educational Garden in Durham.

Then at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Claire Ramsey will be teslling stories at the Vollmer Farm, and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Ron Jones will be telling stories at Melvin's Gardens.
