Chefs named for Critter Cook-Off

Bookmark and Share

If you didn't know, I agreed to judge the 2009 Critter Cook-off at the N.C. Museum of Natural Science's annual Bugfest. The festivities are Saturday, Sept. 12. The cook-off is two days earlier.

This is the latest e-mail from the organizers:

"Just wanted to let you know that the two chefs participating in the 2009 Critter Cook-Off are Corey Palakovich of The Raleigh Times and Brian O'Hara of Tir Na Nog Irish Pub. Hope you're getting your taste buds ready for some delicious concoctions!"

I'm trying not to think about it. I'm hoping none of the dishes are recognizable as insects.
