Blu Seafood and Bar's upcoming dinners

General manager Eryk Pruitt shared some of the upcoming events at the Durham restaurant:

  • 7 p.m. Aug. 13, local beer dinner with the folks from Dain’s Place. So two local beers paired with two courses of upscale pub food for $25.
  •  7 p.m. Aug. 19, Coastal Carolina wine dinner featuring four courses of North Carolina seafood with wine pairings chosen by the guys at the Hope Valley Bottle Shop. Cost: $45.
  • Aug. 26, Blu’s first ever sushi night. Chef Tim Lyons is making arrangements with his purveyors around the globe.
