Bargain Bytes: Three course lunch at Herons for $20

Through the end of August, Herons Mobil Five Star award-winning executive chef Scott Crawford is celebrating the local summer harvest with a three course prix fixe lunch menu. Billed as the Market Menu, the offering will feature the produce of Elodie Farm, Cane Creek Farm and others, including the vendors at the new Western Wake Farmers' Market.

The Market Menu, which is offered daily from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., is a bargain at $20 per person. Call 919-447-4200 for reservations.
