Here are two items of interest to seafood lovers out there: an upcoming seafood festival in Cary and a community-supported fisheries project offering Raleigh delivery.
Wine and seafood lovers may want to mark their calendars for the upcoming Seafood and Wine Festival at Sip, a wine store in Cary. Dock to Door Seafood, a seafood delivery business that connects N.C. fishermen with Triangle consumers, has partnered with Sip for this Feb. 26 event. From 2-5 p.m., they will serve six different wines, clams and oysters from Shooting Point Oyster Company in Virginia.
For $40, you can enjoy seafood and wine. Or you can pay $20 for either seafood or wine. To reserve your tickets, call 467-7880.
