New shoe designer coming to Raleigh

Bookmark and Share

I had a delightful conversation Monday afternoon with Jerome C. Rousseau, an up-and-coming shoe designer who creates wearable works of art.

He'll be in Raleigh Dec. 4 at Fleur in Cameron Village for a trunk show of his beautiful shoes, which are made by Italian craftsman in Tuscany.

I think we're in for a real treat. Rousseau is passionate about shoes, taking style cues from art and the world around him.

His visit to Raleigh is somewhat rare in that he doesn't often have the time to make trunk show appearances. Lucky for us!

And don't expect to see him anywhere else around town or the state ... the only place you can find his shoes in North Carolina is at Fleur.

Read all about him — and his gorgeous shoes — in Monday's Life, etc. section.

What I would like to ask

What I would like to ask from Jerome is regarding the price of his designed shoes. Are they Cheap shoes or not because Italian shoes are always expensive to buy.
