Michelle Obama's dazzling dress for dinner with the guvs

While Bev Perdue went sleek in black, Michelle Obama did a little razzle dazzle of her own Sunday night. She wore a glittery charcoal Peter Soronen gown and a Tom Binns layered necklace for the Obama's first state dinner in the White House. (The dinner was for all the governors, so Bev was among the guests.)

And as it turns out, you can buy Michelle Obama's look, or at least something by the same designer, in the Triangle. Peter Soronen gowns are sold at Vermillion in Raleigh. (He's known for his corsets, which are built into the dresses to help keep everything in place and perked up).

Of course, stayed tuned on that issue. Several local boutiques are talking to Michelle's fave designers about stocking them in stores.
