Michelle Obama in a LBD

Bookmark and Share

I have to admit, I've never, ever had a clue about any first couple's anniversary, but the Obama's 17th wedding anniversary seems to have made a small stir. I'd like to think it's because Michelle looks pretty fab hitting the town with her hubby in this black, backless halter dress. She's pretty smokin' in her LBD! But the fuss is probably because they decided to hit the town Saturday going to Blue Duck Tavern in D.C. to celebrate rather than ringing up the White House kitchen to make dinner.

hi AgentPierce!

i'm so busted. i don't often read the comments below our stories and even my own columns but... i'm a hug fan of samantha's fashion blog. and the first lady.

thanks for the shout out.

gag, choke, burp .....

Samantha Samantha Samantha ..... PUHLEEZE. Your swoon over Lady Obama is a bit much even for an N&O sycophant. Let me guess .... you never miss Oprah. ..... :>)

Good ol' objective journalism ..... dontchajestloveit !!

Um, what?

@AgentPierce: This is a FASHION blog, and whether you'd like to believe it or not, Michelle Obama is one of the most fashionable first ladies we've had since Jackie Kennedy (need proof? check Vogue, Bazaar, Elle and pretty much any fashion publication or website). Talking about her fashion choices, which are swoon-worthy, by the way, isn't sycophantic.

And I'm not even going to ask what that Oprah comment was about.

Thanks for reading the fashion blog!

We love talking fashion here, so thanks for stopping by!

sure ..... you do realize

sure ..... you do realize that most N&O columnists avoid these comment forums.  You score points for reading your critics.  Tell Ruth S that AgentPierce says Hi! ....  :>)
