I've gotten an e-mail from a reader who moved to Raleigh from Long Island and would like to know if there's a restaurant in the Triangle that serves Long Island roast duck (half a duck with orange or dark cherry sauce).
I'm afraid that one has got me stumped. Anyone out there know where a homesick Long Islander can score some roast duck?

As far as the roast duck goes, I've been to only one or two restaurants that serve uncommon dishes like duck, goose, rabbit, venison etc. I do know that you can get duck in the frozen foods section at Walmart so if they can get the recipe for the sauce I'm sure they can make their own.
