Bargain Bytes: Lucky 32 turns 20
Lucky 32 restaurant (www.lucky32.com) is celebrating its 20th anniversary* on May 20-June 20 with a special anniversary menu that includes 3-courses-for-$20 options and daily prizes. They're also offering half price wine each Wednesday, with 70 wines by the glass.
*What's that, you say, how can Lucky 32 be celebrating its 20th anniversary when the Cary restaurant opened in 2001? Actually, the celebration is in honor of the 1989 opening of the original Lucky 32 in Greensboro. But, as is often the case, little brother gets to crash the party.

I got the Shrimp and Grits and it was way, way too salty. My husbands dish was also not spiced right. It seemed the portions got smaller and prices had gone up. It was a big disappointment because I expected so much. Hopefully it was just an off night with the cooking staff, but I probably won't venture there for awhile.
