Player to watch
Seth Curry, Duke
Curry continues to manage his right shin injury, so back-to-back games present a challenge for the senior. He was able to play more than 30 minutes in the three consecutive games in the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament and averaged 18 points in the wins over Minnesota, VCU and Louisville. Look for Tyler Thornton to pick up additional minutes if Curry needs extra rest.

Observations
***This will be Duke’s final game before taking a few days off for the holidays. Mason and Marshall Plumlee are planning on staying in town, with their parents coming to Durham.

***With a win over Elon, Duke can extend its streak of consecutive nonconference home wins to 100. The last nonconference team to beat Duke in Cameron was St. John’s in a one-point, 83-82 loss on Feb. 26, 2000.
