New Wake Forest buses getting busy, fast

Bookmark and Share

Two new bus routes in Wake Forest -- an express run to downtown Raleigh and a leisurely loop around town and to Wakefield -- have attracted plenty of riders since they started rolling Monday, Triangle Transit says.

The Wake Forest-Raleigh Express had 96 riders on Monday and 139 on Tuesday.

The Wake Forest-Wakefield Loop had 70 riders on Monday and 124 on Tuesday.

How long before we see standing-room-only on some of those express commuter runs? Stay tuned.
