If you have to work on Black Friday, the news is not all bad.
The folks at Seattle's Best Coffee want to perk up your day with a free coffee offer.
Head over to the Seattle's Best Facebook page and sign up for a free sample of the company's Level 3 blend, enough to brew a 10-cup pot. The offer is available through Nov. 25, or while supplies last. Click on the Black Friday Coffee Break icon.
Or, if you don't want to brew your own, tell the boss you're taking a coffee break and stop by a particpating Seattle's Best Coffee Shop on Friday and order up a free 12-oz. cup. In the Triangle, there's a Seattle's Best shop on Duke University's campus in Durham.
You're on your honor here, folks. While shopping on Black Friday may seem like work, I don't think that's what the company had in mind. This freebie is for those among us who are officially on the clock.
But, according to a company press release, Black Friday shoppers are welcome to print the $2 coupon available on the Facebook page.
