Walmart has Butterballs for .85/lb :-D

And they still had plenty of them yesterday -- but since we're down to the wire on defrosting time, it may be a moot point for many...

cat food deal

I just started occasionally reading your list, though I have been reading the blog.   Do you cover deals for pet food?  We just got a cat and I'm now cutting coupons I used to throw away.

I noticed a great deal at Lowe's this week.  16 lb bag of Kit & Kaboodle is BOGO.  There were coupons ($1/1) in the paper in the last few weeks, sorry I don't know the exact date.  Thatbrand usually sels for around $13 a bag, so this would be a good buy.

That is a great deal! Thanks

That is a great deal! Thanks for posting. I will sometimes list cat/dog food deals but not always so I would love to have folks alert everybody when they spot a good one.

Turkey

Amy, our plans suddenly changed (sick child) and now we are staying home for Thanksgiving.  Where's the best deal on a good turkey?  Haven't paid a bit of attention b/c we were leaving!  Thanks, Mindy

Best turkey prices are at

Best turkey prices are at Food Lion and Kroger: 45 cents per pound with $35 additional purchase at Food Lion and 49 cents a pound with additional $25 purchase at Kroger.

With no strings attached, Target has Butterball for 97 cents per pound. And there's that $3 coupon out there but you have to buy other items with it.

I also heard WalMart has some good prices but that they vary from store to store. I haven't personally checked those out.

Hope your little one gets better soon!

Canned Pumpkin Deals?

Do you have any information about where do get the best deal on canned pumpkin, either Libby's or store brand?

Great question! Best prices

Great question! Best prices I've seen have been at Aldi (99 cents!) and Kroger store brand ($1.19). That's for the 15 oz. can. Hope that helps!
