There are a couple of stellar deals out there this week but for the most part the sales are pretty ho-hum.
I don't know about you but I'll be grabbing my milk, bread and produce, along with a few select bargains and spending the rest of the week catching up on my coupon clipping and filing.
The deals I'm most excited about this week: 10-cent cereal and chicken breasts for $1.67 per pound at Lowes Food, and cherries for a $1.99 per pound at Harris Teeter. Lowes also has some decent deals on store-brand products, including ice cream novelties and cooking spray.
Read on for all the deals. And please post your finds. On a week like this, we can all use the help.
At Harris Teeter:
e-vic special: Yoplait yogurt is 10/$5 - .50/8 coupon (7/10 Smart Source) = 10/$4 after coupon doubles. (NOTE: You must buy all 10 to get the e-vic discount.) This is just an OK deal.
Sensible Portions Pita Bites, Bagel Tops, Potato Straws and Veggie Straws: BOGO or $1.50 to $1.75 each. There's a tear pad coupon floating around out there for .50/1 but I haven't seen it. Let us know if you spot it somewhere in the Triangle.
