Kidz Stuff Consignment Sale - Thursday, Sept. 15 through Saturday, Sept. 17 in the Family Life Center - Turner Gymnasium at Hayes Barton Baptist Church, 1800 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, 27608.
Public sale hours: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; 8 a.m. to noon Saturday (half-price sale).

Consignment sales are a great way to outfit your kids at a fraction of the retail cost. Many sales also offer toys, books, games, bicycles and baby equipment. Clothing sizes at these sales range from newborn to juniors.
A great resource for keeping up with all the sales scheduled in the Triangle is a website called ConsignmentMommies.com. Run by a mother-daughter team based in North Carolina, the site offers a nationwide directory of consignment sales and shops.
Simply plug in your Zip code and how far you're willing to travel, and the site will list all the sales in your area, along with sales dates, contact numbers and links to sales' websites. There are even reviews from moms who have previously shopped these sales.
