After being out of the country for 5 1/2 months where they don't have coupons and grocery prices are more expensive, coming back and doing triples really makes one appreciate the value of the set up here.  It seems the number of couponers has increased in that time and the empty shelves that are staying empty could be proof.  This will probably also mean that I'd better start getting to the store earlier for the handful of items I especially want.  Thank you for putting together the deals every week.

I finally made it to Teeters today for triples and many items were sold out but I was able to score a great deal on Jolly Time popcorn with coupons I picked up from Weight Watchers. A dear friend tipped me off on the unadvertised sale of buy 2 get 3 free so I stocked up on several boxes of the Healthy Pop.  Made my day!

Used 30 counpons over 2 trips...hoping to do one more.  Hate when I forget a coupon and get the item anyway!   urrg!!!!! 

I am a full time college student as well as a full time father of a 2 year old, so I really appreciate the ability to rapidly see what deals there are.  One of the mottos of my department at school is "Work smart, not hard."  Amy makes that a lot easier for me!

Very happy with savings:  free / cheap:  Super Pretzels Cinnamon Sweet (19 1/2 cents box of 6 - 3 boxes); Ragu spaghetti sauce (34 cents jar - 2 jars); Mentos - 3; Starbucks ice cream (3 for $10); Heinz ketchup (19 cents); Dole frozen fruit (strawberries and pineapple) deals; hot sauce (Franks, Tabasco; Texas Pete) deals; and Margaret Holmes and Glory beans and succotash.  Thanks, again!!!

I'm not a regular HT shopper, as it's farther from my house than Lowe's and Food Lion. Thus, when I arrived ready to save I found that my area HT was pretty much wiped out of all of the items I had clipped to save. Oh well. Maybe I should sign up for the coupon class and set my alarm for next time!

We just got back from vacation and so I'm finalizing my shopping list now!  Last time there were triple coupons, I got $103 of groceries for $33!  I'd like to beat my record!

I went Weds at 7:30 AM and there were a lot of items out of stock, but went again over the weekend and found some things I could not find Weds, like Jello Temptations and Yoplait Yogurt.  I never found the Gold Peak (unsweetened) or Hydro shave gel, but all in all, got some good deals as usual thanks to Amy and H-T!

Hi, this is the first time i tried this going to two different stores on two separate days for a total of $120 in coupon savings.  Lots of the really good deals were out but some of the things out in one store were available in the other one the next day. thanks for the advice.

I did a personal record of 3 trips to HT for triples. I usually don't do it but twice, but deals were good enough to go 2 times! I paid a total of $47.00 and saved $110. Out of the $47.00, I will get $7.00 back in wine and beer rebates! My ogal is always save more than I spend. I couldn't do it without your help! Thanks Amy. Can't wait to meet you in person on June 16!

I am in Houston Texas but I come back to Raleigh next week.  I have been in Houston for 2 months and boy have I been missing Triple coupons at Harris Teeter.  I having been buying the Sunday Paper out here (its 2.50 out here so-$2 does'nt seem so bad!) and saving the coupons for when I come back so I can get back in on the fun!  They do not triple or even double for that matter out here-so Raleigh-we are TRULY blessed that we can save like we save on food and other household items.  I have used coupons at Target and Fiesta but not the like the saving I usually see back home.  Which leads me to the question: why does Texas not double or triple!!  Food here is expensive

Last week, I got about $50 worth of groceries for $5 - this included several free items including Jell-O temptations, Yoplait yogurt w/granola, and Mentos gum.

This sale was pretty good, but I tend to prefer the HT Super Doubles coupon events over the Triples.

went back this am for my 3rd trip of the week.  wanted to take advantage of Sundays coupons.  didn't do as well as I did last week, my oop was $30.10, and I saved $50.35.  no freebles today, but still lots of good items.  My freezer and pantry is begging me to stop!

Wow--Triples has been so much fun this time around and I love that it helps stock on condiments that I was low on and the stores were fully stocked for what I wanted. My first shop I spent 2.13 and saved 39.85. This triples has been one of the best I have seen and now waiting for super doubles because I know it will be awesome!!!!!

Saved $16.22 with this week's triple coupons! When I reached the checkout, I saw a 2 liter Pepsi on the counter with a note: you will receive this free if the cashier doesn't ask you to make a donation to our cause. Well, he didn't mention it, and I said, "Hey, do I get a free Pepsi?" He said, "Yes, take that one." I went ahead and donated $1 to the cause, but I could have gotten the Pepsi free! Look forward to their triples events, and save all my coupons under $1 specifically for this shopping trip. Wish my usual store Kroger would do triples!

This time I opted not to go for the freebies, but instead to go for the few items we needed most.   For example, We stocked up on Carnation Instant Breakfast with a 75cent off coupon that triples to $2.25 off I bought as much as I could in separate trips.  We use this to make chocolate milk in the mornings as a much healtier option then syrup.

Unfortunately if you don't visit this store on wednesday morning, the shelves are wiped clean and not restocked.

I didn't buy much on my triple exursion to the Apex store but I did get a nice cashier.  I goofed on a coupon that said you had to buy (2).  He offered quickly to remove the single item from my purchase.  The item just wasn't good enough to get (2), so it was an easy decision. 

I made 2 trips, one around 8am Wednesday and another at 6am on Saturday. I find the shelves get restocked pretty well for the weekend shoppers, but I must shop early on Saturdays before it gets CRAZY!!

Only a few things were out of stock on Wednesday, with the only the Grande tortilla chips still out of stock on Saturday. All together I got $147.13 worth of groceries for $48.50, saving 67%. I did better on Thursday (76%) than Saturday (61%) due to weekend specials that didn't all have triple coupons!

I saved $45 and used all 20 coupons. I might go back Monday.

I was on vacation and didn't go this time around.  But I love reading how everyone else did on savings!

I got there at 6:30 am Wed. and saw lots of other couponers but got everything I wanted with my 20 coupons.  I got $52.00 of groceries for $10.58.

My biggest surprise came when I used 5 Walgreens $0.99 catalinas that I got from buying the Starbucks Refreshers. Each one of those catalinas tripled much to my surprise. I have 4 more 0.50 that will triple also when I go back for round 2.

It's not the crazy savings that other folks have been reporting, but we went to the Chapel Hill (Airport Rd) Harris Teeter on Wednesday evening. We saved about 50% of what the bill would have been, and only purchased food and household items that we normally would have. We're kinda picky :-)

I read an earlier post that mentioned they don't go early on the day of Triples because it's usually restocked soon after. I've been yesterday and today & still no luck,everything is still picked over which i have found in the past to be the problem. Does anyone know when they restock the the things that get picked over first day?? Has there been a pattern in the past. I live in Clayton so it's hard to just run to Raleigh and check but luckily my husband works in Raleigh and has been keeping an eye out for me.
