I'm a poor substitute for Amy, but in her absence I wanted to step into her blog for a minute to make sure all N&O readers saw the coupon on page 12A today for $5 off 24-count Zantac. It says it's redeemable at Walmart but other stores may take it as well.
Also, as Amy mentioned last week, we've got Triples at Harris Teeter. Please feel free to play Centsible Saver this week and share your great deals in the comments section. We'll all benefit and appreciate it. For my part, I'm planning to use the 50/2 Smart Source coupons for Dannon Oikos yogurt (on sale 10/10) so I can get two for 25 cents each. If you want more, there's also a $1/10 e-vic coupon on the Teeter web site.
As a baker, I also like the $1.97 e-vic special on Harris Teeter brand butter (limit 2). Another good deal is the split chicken breasts for 99 cents a pound, but remember it's still a better deal to get a whole chicken and cut it up yourself. If you're not sure how, check out this video.
Lowes also has split chicken breasts for 99 cents a pound. Better yet, they've got Lowes brand milk for $2.88 a gallon.
Both Food Lion and Harris Teeter are running Unilever deals. At Teeter, buy 3 participating products and get $3 off at the register. At Food Lion, spend $15 on Unilever products such as Dove soap, Degree deodorant and Vaseline lotion and get $5 off at the register.
And be sure to see Amy's post below about how you can win the $25 Kroger gift card she'll be giving away on her return.
