Harris Teeter kicks off a weeklong Super Doubles coupon event starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, which means you'll have the opportunity to load up a grocery cart and pay just pennies on the dollar.
Using the prices at our local Harris Teeter stores AND the coupons we received here in the Triangle, I've come up with a fantastic list of FREE and extremely inexpensive groceries you should be able to score at your store.
I've walked the aisles of a local Harris Teeter, verified prices online, checked shelf tags for sales dates and read the fine print on coupons so you won't be disappointed when you get to the store.
(And just as a little refresher on the Super Double rules: Each day of the promotion, which will run through Tuesday, Nov. 8, you may double 20 coupons with a face value up to $1.98. You may redeem up to three identical coupons in a transaction.)

Stacking of two
Sun, 11/06/2011 - 18:37 — AmyDunn (author)Stacking of two manufacturer's coupons isn't permitted.
When doing the deals, I try to list all available coupons that we've gotten lately and are still in date. For this particular deal, there were two Domino's sugar coupons still in date. The wording "as low as" means if you use the coupon with the greater value. Great question and so sorry for the confusion.
Thanks for Clarity!

Catalina
Thu, 11/03/2011 - 22:44 — schaulWhat is Catalina? Perhaps you could provide a list of non-N&O coupon sources?
A Catalina coupon is one
Sun, 11/06/2011 - 18:48 — AmyDunn (author)A Catalina coupon is one that prints out at the register when you check out at the grocery. Some times the Catalinas are for $$ off your next grocery trip. Other times, they might be for a competing brand. For instance, if you bought Folgers coffee, a Catalina coupon for Maxwell House might print out. (Catalinas, btw, get their name from the marketing company that provides the promotional service. You may also hear them referred to as "cats" on coupon blogs.)..........Hope that helps.
Driscoll
