There are plenty of deals to keep you busy at the drugstores and Kroger this week. Free items are available at each of the drugstores, some of them free without even clipping a coupon. You can get a FREE two-pack of Sharpie markers at Target. And Kroger has got another Mega Sale with great stock-up prices on Steamfresh veggies, Pepsi 2-liters and Colgate toothpaste, just to name a few.

At CVS:

Before you head out to the store, be sure to check your in-box for an email from CVS. I got one earlier this week with a coupon for $5 off a $25 order. Second week in a row.

Complete contact solution: $7.99 - $7.99 Extra Bucks = FREE. Limit 1.

Balance Bar: $1.69 - $1.69 Extra Bucks = FREE. Limit 1.

Dove Visible Care body wash (18 oz.): $5.99 - $2 Extra Buck - $1/1 coupon (6/26 Red Plum) = $2.99. Limit 2.

Buy one 8-pack of AA or AAA Duracell batteries and get a free 10-pack of CVS batteries.

Scan your CVS card at the coupon kiosk for a $3/$10 pain reliever purchase. Combine this with manufacturers' coupons for a better deal.

School supplies sale:

Two-pocket folders: 10 for $1. Limit 10.

One-subject notebooks: 3/$1.

And finally, the gas deal continues: Buy $30 in participating products, get a $10 gas card to Shell or Exxon Mobil. Lots of candy among the participating products this week, along with a few useful items, such as vitamins, toothpaste and deodorant.

At Rite Aid:

Baby supplies sale:

At Kroger:

There's another Mega Event this week with lots of possibilities. Buy 10 participating items and get $5 off your order instantly, which averages out to a 50 cents per item discount. Many of the items have coupons to go with them. A few are great deals without coupons. Here are a few that stood out to me:

Birds Eye Steamfresh veggies: 89 cents each after Mega Event discount. A great deal without coupons.

Pepsi two-liters: 74 cents each after discount. A great deal, no coupon required.

Pringles cans: 99 cents after discount. Buy 3 - $1/3 coupon (6/26 Red Plum) = 66 cents each.

Colgate toothpaste (6.4 oz.): 99 cents after discount - .75/1 coupon (6/26 Smart Source) = 24 cents.

SunnyD (64 oz.): 99 cents after discount - .25/1 coupon doubled (5/15 Smart Source) = 49 cents each.

Kraft Easy Mac cups: 49 cents each after discount. Look for tearpad coupons on end-cap displays for $1/5 cups. That would make these just 29 cents each.

Clorox (82-96 oz.): $1.29 after discount. A good deal.

Wisk (50 oz.): $3.49 after discount - $2/1 coupon (6/26 Red Plum) = $1.49. A very good deal.

Chips Ahoy cookies (9.5-16 oz.): $1.68 after discount - $1/2 coupon (6/19 Smart Source) = $1.18 each when you buy 2.

Other good deals:

M&M singles candies: 50 cents each - .75/2 (7/10 Red Plum) = 25 cents for two.

Red cherries: $1.99 per pound.

Peaches: 79 cents per pound.

Strawberries (16 oz.): $2.

Grape tomatoes (10 oz.): $1.50.
