Interested in learning how to save money at the grocery store? Or do you feel like you need a refresher course in couponing?
I'll be teaching a coupon class on Saturday, Aug. 27, covering basic and advanced coupon techniques.
The half-day class will cover:
- finding, organizing and using coupons for the items you already buy.
- matching your coupons with the weekly grocery ads to maximize your savings.
- the ins and outs of local grocery coupon policies and rebate programs.
- meal planning and other tips to cut your grocery budget.
The class runs from 9 a.m. to noon at our downtown Raleigh offices. The cost of the class is $15 and includes free parking, free breakfast, a class handout and some nice freebies. We'll also do a drawing for prizes. Bring a donation to the Food Bank of Eastern and Central North Carolina and get a second chance to win.
Go to the N&O Zone page to register. The class is open to N&O subscribers and is limited to 50 participants.

Thanks,
Mary Beth
