Here's your chance to tell us how you did at Harris Teeter during this latest round of Super Doubles. So go ahead and brag a little.
Please share your totals and any good deals you spotted. Are you completely exhausted by all this couponing? Out of coupons? Got a gripe? Share that too.
In case you're wondering, I did two early morning shops -- one to Harris Teeter and one to Lowes Foods to take advantage of its generous Kraft Foods promotion.
At Harris Teeter, after the last coupon was swiped, I ended up paying $1.95 for $91.86 in groceries.
Here's how I did it:
2 Green Giant Veggie snacks
1 Uncle Sam cereal
1 Hinode long-grain brown rice
1 Suave shampoo
1 Suave body wash
3 Nectresse sweetener
1 Tom's of Maine kids toothpaste
3 King's Hawaiian hamburger rolls
2 pounds red grapes
1 Arnold Pocket Thins
3 Yopa Greek yogurt
2 pints chocolate milk
5 Oscar Mayer hotdogs
1 6-pack Zevia soda
I super doubled 20 coupons, which is the limit per household per day.
Five of those coupons were printables from The N&O's Find N Save coupon page.
Two coupons came from the All You magazine.
Two coupons came from a tearpad.
Eleven coupons came from the Sunday N&O coupon inserts.
In addition to those, I had a coupon for a free box of Uncle Sam cereal that had previously printed out at the register and two "On Your Next Order" coupons that I had also earned on a previous shopping trip.
My final savings: 98 percent or two cents on the dollar.
