If you've been thinking about joining a warehouse club, Sam's Club is offering free gift cards to new members.
Through Oct. 7, you'll receive a $10 Sam's Club gift card when you sign up for a basic membership, which costs $40. When you sign up for a plus membership, which costs $100, you'll get a $40 gift card.
The deal is only good when you sign up in a Sam's Club store. You'll get the gift card when you sign up but it cannot be used on the cost of membership.

Sam's Club also has an ongoing deal for college students. Students who show a valid college identification card and email address will receive a $15 Sam's Club gift card when they sign up for a $40 basic membership or renew a membership.
