Through a partnership with Wilco Hess gas stations, Lowes Foods has announced it is expanding its gasoline rewards program.
That's good news for Lowes Foods customers because up until now only those who shopped at one of the chain's 20 stores with gasoline stations could participate in the program that rewards loyal shoppers with discounted gasoline.
Starting this Wednesday, customers at all Lowes Foods stores in North Carolina and South Carolina will be able to earn rewards toward discounted gasoline, according to Lowes Foods spokeswoman Lisa Selip. Customers at Lowes Foods' new Just $ave stores are also eligible to take advantage of the offer.
Customers will be able to redeem their "Fuel Rewards" by pumping gas at a Lowes Foods gas station or one of about 300 participating Wilco Hess stations throughout the Carolinas, Selip said.
The gas rewards kick in when a customer spends $100 in groceries or gift cards - not including Lowes Foods gift cards - during the month.
Customers who spend $100 will save 5 cents per gallon on one fill-up of up to 25 gallons. Spend $200 and get 10 cents off per gallon. Spend $300, save 15 cents per gallon.
Selip said customers will have one month from the time they earn their discounts to use them.
